Two particular issues confused and mystified me through the process.
1. Possession (Demonic). Devils - who - what - where - are you sure?

1. Possession
As a boy (and like all others I expect) I enjoyed the stories of battles, victory’s etc and the word possession feeds the concept of ownership, domination and control. A battle won.
The stories of demon possession feed into that narrative easily. Having worked in UK, Zimbabwe and Sudan there were numerous times when the devil was “cast out” etc and the church was strident, powerful and demonstrating its relevance on the subject.
However how does this story fit into the overall bible perspective........????
